The Capital FM Cardiff Bay Beach Festival is coming back bigger and better than ever – in a new waterfront location near Cardiff Bay Barrage – and packing even more attractions into the summer holidays.
Entry is FREE with additional charges for on-site facilities.
The new and improved Beach Festival moves over to Barrage Walkway, a newly developed event site in Cardiff Bay. From July 6, the Beach is now open for an expanded nine weeks of family entertainment until the kids return to school, with much more on offer for teenagers.
A new home means an increase in size for this year’s Beach, and in addition to hosting its usual ingredients, the Beach will boast large scale attractions such as a Big Wheel, Roller Coaster, big water spraying arches, movie nights, and a marquee area where visitors can enjoy the best in street food.
Barrage Walkway is a short 10-minute walk from Roald Dahl Plass, and is the perfect location for both cyclists and dog-walkers who are welcome on site with us this year.
All aboard the Cardiff Bay Barrage Land Train! This is a complimentary service for visitors to Cardiff Bay Beach and will run between 11am and 6pm, on the hour until the last pick-up of the day at 5pm.
